Jessie LaFree, AIA, NCARB is a licensed architect and the founder of free architecture and design, llc. An experienced, licensed Illinois architect, Jessie has over 10 years of industry experience with a focus on residential, multi-family, and small commercial projects. Her background includes extensive leadership and project management roles at prominent Chicago firms, where she was valued for her excellent organization and communication skills.

Jessie also instructs students of architecture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and uses her teaching skills to guide clients through the often-complex design and construction process.

Jessie is an executive director on the AIA Chicago Board of Directors and a director for the Architecture Foundation of Illinois. She is also a boxer, horse enthusiast, casual rock climber, and world traveler.
